My neuro called and said the sleep study said it improved my sleep. He said he was going to try and put it through the insurance but that it may take awhile. Two days later they called and said to go to hte respiratory distributor as my machine was waiting. I went with a totally different mask than I used in the study. I got a full face mask. I will have to go out today and get the distilled water. Guest guest Posted December 10, 2004 Report Share Posted December 10, 2004 I'm so glad that you have your CPAP and found a mask that you feel is comfortable. Now you can start enjoying some good nights and wake up feeling more rested. This helps all the other aspects of your health as well as sleep is very important. Try not to get upset if you find yourself waking up and pulling off the mask for a while. It can happen and it sometimes takes a period of adjustment to sleep with a mask on your face but if you persist with it, you will get used to it and eventually realize that you can't manage a night without it.
