Guest guest
, Here is the link for Angel Flight: http://www.angel-flight.org/ It is in the links section of this group also if you misplace the link in the future. If you call them, I'm sure they can explain everything to you. I have not used them, but others on this group have, so I hope they can fill you in a little more. I referenced a " handful " of doctors because of your daughter's age and the complexity of treating " a-typical " clubfoot if that is indeed what she has. I just read a post from an Australian mom on another clubfoot site whose son's foot was diagnosed as " a-typical " by Dr. P via photos also. She said that Dr. P wrote to her that he's treated about 20 cases and knows of 20 other cases world-wide. They're just recently learning more about how to treat difficult feet, in the past year or so, and not many doctors have experience with it. Most doctors would consider these feet surgical candidates. Also, the older the child is, the more difficult it is to obtain correction. Just based on what I've read about the various doctors in the U.S., this is why I thought that Dr. Dobbs or the docs in Iowa would be your best bets for putting your daughter in experienced hands to get the correction in the shortest amount of time. Here's the link to Angel's website about Kai's a-typical clubfoot: http://adifferentfoot.freeservers.com/ you might find this informative too. Hope this helps! & (3-16-00) left clubfoot
