Your words were touching and the information given has been useful. My quesiton today is about a hickmen's line. I believe I have the right name. It is in one's chest and use to administer TPN. My boyfriend has been in hospital for a few weeks now (he has MNGIE) he now has a hickmen's line and will be returning home in another week or so. All of the equipment and supplies will be arriving before him. I don't know much about this and was looking to get any information I can with regards to how it works, how difficutl the set up and routine of it is, etc. Any informtaion will be appreciated as I want to know as much as I can before he returns home.
