Guest guest Posted December 28, 2004 Report Share Posted December 28, 2004 Thanks everyone for replying to my post about muscle and neck pain, I am seeing a PT who has a Doctorate in Sports Medicine, so I feel pretty comfortable in his abilities to preform massage and ultrasound treatments. My PCP is dual certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine and he is DO so the Manipulations he does do seem to provide temporary relief. I have tried Cortisone injections ( pain managemnt doc did this) with no success :-( Actually made the pain worse! It surely seems to me that with all the replies that Mito might be a factor in this ongoing problem. I imagine that any muscle related problem could be blamed on this wonderful illness.
