I had gastric by-pass nov 2002 so I am out of surgery 15 months but I am still nervous. Background. My first child ina, I tried for 4 1/2 years to get pregnant and she ended up being an ivf baby. I have lost 130 pounds and feel and look great. I just can't believe I am pregant but there it was on paper Yes!! I am so exctied. My husband is going bananas he is so happy and our 8 yr old daughter, ina, is happy but is refusing to change any diapers in the future. I am on this sight because my 1st daughter was born 2 months early and wt of 3.2 pounds thankfully healthy and mouthy at 8. but I am concerned over haing another pre- mature baby and/or a miscarrige.
