Guest guest
So I'm in a specialty shop yesterday and see a display for maternity/support belts. I've been having a lot of low back pain, most likely from my osteo arthritis and possibly from the extra skin on my belly (I've lost over 150 lbs and don't have a large panni, but there is some loose skin), so I decide to step into the dressing room and try one of those puppies on. AHHHHH.... I couldn't belive the instant sense of relief I felt in my back! So I purchased the belt, not even bothering to take it off to buy it, just took the empty box to the counter and told her there was no way she was getting it back, lol. Have it on again this morning, but I'm wondering if there is any un- safe way to wear it. The belt feels wonderful when I'm standing and it doesn't bind or pinch in any way, but when I sit, although it doesn't pinch at all, it does fold a little and feels a touch constricting. I wonder if there is such a thing as having too much constriction on my abdomen. This may seem silly, but I'm wondering if wearing something too tight or possibly binding could restrict blood flow to the baby. Would love to hear from anyone with any thoughts or knowledge on this. Toi edd 8/10-17??? (uterus is measuring about a week larger than we originally figured)
