I ahve no idea how to get things rolling for you but want to say Good Luck

with everything. I was induced for both my pregnancies and I know how scary it

can be. I am already nervous for this one coming too. I guess you never are

really ready. Just try to relax, bring some magazines with you that you really

like, something to suck on ( lifesavers,mints, ect) and even your own pillow

from home if you think you will be more comfortable with it. By Tuesday you are

going to be a MOMMY Yeah!!!!!

Hi all. Sunday I go into the hospital to start Cytotec (spelling?)

Then Monday morning they will start me on Pitocin. If I haven't had

my dd by Tuesday afternoon, we will do a c-section. I am getting so

nervous. This is my first baby. Any suggestions on how I can start

the process along? I have not started to dialate at all. Please

keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

I was induced with my son and it was horrible. 28 hours of labor

and then a c-section. I recommend going into labor in natures own

time as long as the baby is not in distress or you either.

Your husbands semen is supposed to help thin out the cervix. You

may also want to try nipple stimulation which can make contractions

start. Also so mild to moderate exercise like walking.

This baby I am not even trying to have the baby vaginally. Just

going straight for the c-section.

atarted the pit at 8 am I had him at midnight I was not in labor the whole

time. But it worked and I had him he was very healthy and I did not have to

have a C-Section- I say maybe to start things up HAVE SEX

My dr says if I don't go into labor on my own, in about 3 weeks we will schedule

for me to come in and be induced. This is my first and I have heard that labor

is more painful when induced than when it starts naturally. Is this true for

those of you that have been through both? I am ready for her to be born as this

belly is really getting in my way and I am so uncomfortable. But I don't want

her to come before feb 1st. I know it is selfish of me but I love purple and I

want her to have the amethyst birthstone and not january's garnet. I have

already been told that sex and lots of walking will help start labor so I plan

on lots of both starting feb 1st if I don't go into labor before then.
