IT WS FAINT AND THEN IT DISAPPEARED AFTER A COUPLE HOURS. I CALLED TO THE NUMBER ON THE BOX AND THEY SAID A POSITIVE IS A POSITIVE AND I HAD BLOOD DRAWN AND IT WAS INDEED POSITIVE. YOU ARE BARELY PREGNANT THOUGH IF YOU ARE NOT EVEN LATE YET, THAT IS WHY IT IS SHOWING UP SO FAINT. YOUR HCG LEVELS ARE STILL QUITE LOW AND THAT IS WHAT THE TEST IS PICKING UP. Guest guest Posted February 21, 2004 Report Share Posted February 21, 2004 Oh yeah, if your doc is having you wait you should still go to the pharmacy and get yourself some folic acid vitamins to take. It helps prevent nuerological defects and are best started right away, actually before pregnancy is even better but most never start them until they find out. I just take over the counter ones and the doc says that is fine and make sure to take all your vitamins everyday. Glad to hear I'm not alone in the it went away part, lol. Now to spaz out until after week 8, and then again until after 1st trimester. Ok, so I am a natural basket case. lol. I have never made it past week 8 before. I'm going to do everything that I can though, and try not to stress, ok not stress too much, lol. Thank you!! That is on top of my isotonic vitamens in the morning. Having had 3 miscarriages, I really really want to be good this time. Not that I wasn't last time, they said that all three were weight related, so maybe being smaller this one will be healthy?? Thanks for your response, yay. Guest guest Posted February 21, 2004 Report Share Posted February 21, 2004 Kris I had the same thing but my faint line is still there (i kept the test for the baby book) and im almost 26 weeks but it could depend on the test you got to i got the first response and tested 4 days early and got a very faint 2nd line, i retested a few days later with a generic stick that someone had sent me, (she had a load of them) and it was faint too so then i went a head and had the dr do a blood test and sure enough i was pregnant.
