I applaud your stand for life!

3rd Trimester abortions are illegal as far as I know.

Even the partial birth abortions are illegal.

Blame here lies with the system.. they should have removed her rights...

These babies were full term.. were they not?

She was doing drugs and drinking... most states would have taken those babies

from her custody the minute they were born.

Why didn't the hospitals step in??

It is obvious she was not able to make appropriate decisions for herself..

and some agency should have steped in and taken control.

There are many to blame here.. not just the woman.

36 weeks is considered full term... she should have been forced to have the C

section... she lost her parental rights the moment she decided to take go AMA

and she was mentally unstable.

It so angers me ...

Ok, so I'm new and I'm jumping in with both feet...

My rights to decide what to do with my body end where

the life and rights of another begin. Like it or not,

we're saving babies at 24 weeks of gestation and

spending millions upon millions of dollars to keep

them alive in the NICU...so what makes them different

from a fetus whose mother decides she doesn't want it

and ends its life? This isn't about abortion or

abortion rights. It's about not being selfish when

you've decided to take on the responsibility for

another life. Babies don't ask to be conceived; nor

do they choose to be aborted.

I didn't see how far along she was, but even prematurely with Mom

using cocaine and alcohol, the baby was far better off in NICU

somewhere than staying inside her~!
