Guest guest
had his tenotomy yesterday morning and has been having trouble sleeping ever since. He cries and can't settle, even after going to sleep he wakes 45 minutes later and starts crying again. Finally at 5:00 AM I gave him some Tylenol with codeine and then he was able to sleep. He's happy when he's awake, but when he lies down to sleep he just cries and cries. He's a year old, so is it possible that it's more painful than for younger babies? Has anyone else had their child have this much pain after a tenotomy? Also, his left foot is more turned out than his right, it looks like it's almost 90 degrees instead of 60, and I was wondering if that could be causing him pain. I've called Shriner's, but they are so busy no one's gotten back to me yet. I thought I'd ask here since so many of your children have had the tenotomy. On a more positive note, the doctor was very pleased with the outcome of his feet and feels they are perfectly corrected.
