I think she is carrying the baby herself, Not adopting :) But because of her

nipples being reattached they may not produce milk.

Oh I know that. =) Just responding to the idea that an

adoptive mom can't exclusively nurse...many times they

can. =)

*nods* I know...and unfortunately, she may find that to

be the case depending on how it was done.

Oftentimes they cut AROUND the areola and move the

areola without removing it (and therefore without

severing the ducts leading to the nipple...which is where

the main problem would come in.)...so if that's the case

there's an EXCELLENT chance that she'd be able to

exclusively nurse.

But even if she finds herself unable to exclusively

nurse....nursing the baby and supplimenting with

formula is WORLDS better for the baby than exclusively

formula feeding.

in other words...the only time that nursing would NOT

be better when talking about health-wise for the baby

would be if there was absolutely NO breastmilk. For

her, that's not going to be the case...so the baby will

definitely get advantages from her nursing. It's just that

it's possible she will need to suppliment with a little

formula as well.
