Guest guest Posted October 20, 2004 Report Share Posted October 20, 2004 Hi , I have had MRI's done of the brain I am not sure if a brain scan is any different or the same. I am very claustrophobic the first one I went in and said get me out so they did and the lady said you might need a valium I said that is exactly what I need can you please give me one she said that the doctor wouldhave to order it. I said ok I will go in I came all this way so she gave me a pair of headphones asked what radio station I like and bave me a pair of goggles that when I looked up I could see the techs in the room. I don't like them but I know if I had to I would,though my next one I will have some ativan or valium LOL . I also had an open one I heard the closed ones are better though I don't know the open one when I opened my eyes the machine was right above my head.
