What to wear with casts

I'm trying to pack some clothes for for tomorrow's trip and I

don't know what he can wear with casts on. We've had casts before,

but not full leg casts. Do pants fit over them? How long does it take

for them to dry and will a blanket over his legs help keep him warm?
