Hi anyone had trouble eating? I've been getting in all of my

vitamins & meds - and I'm wondering if that is part of what is making

me quesy. I'm taking

Progesterone 2x

Woman's 1 daily

Prenatal

Actigall 2x

Chewable Iron

3 Citracal

B-12 w/ folic acid

It seems like alot but I'm only 4 mo post op & 7 weeks pregnant &

this list is doctor approved.

I'm just worried becasue I know this is the most important time, the

only thing I seem to be able to tolerate easily is junk. I tried

eating low smell foods like deli ham & even that is not going down

well the last few days.

I can get my protein shake in - so maybe I should jsut do a bunch of

them to get me through?

Thanks, Kathy V.

You have two things going on -- you are still at a point where your tummy

has just healed and you have to learn how to eat plus you have the hormones

from the pregnancy that are acting on you. What you have to do is take it

day by day. Try to keep down whatever you can eat. Whatever. When I was

pregnant (at about 13 months out) I ate cream filled donuts. The only thing

I could get down that would stay down -- which was intriguing because I was

a major dumper. I quit dumping once I got pregnant. My body's way of

allowing me to eat. I am not suggesting you eat junk food but maybe try

eating some stuff like peanut butter on celery or on a bagel. Or even on a

spoon. Try different things. You need carbs when pregnant -- too much

protein is not ideal when pregnant from what i have heard. So just try your

best.
