Hey Everyone,

Hope all is well with everyone. I've been a part of this group for a few

months now but have only lurked until now. I'm and I had my WLS

Oct. 16, 2002 at Wilford Hall Medical Center here in SA. So much has

happened since surgery but I must say that it's all been wonderful. I've had

no complications and I am almost 16 mo. post op and wouldn't change

anything. I started out at 241 lbs., 22/24 and I'm now at 125 lbs., size 8

but some 6's and 4's too. I must also add that we are expecting. I am 14 &

1/2 wks. and feel great. There are a few times I've felt a little queasy but

for the most part I feel great. I haven't gained a single lb. yet but boy

I'm starting to show lol.

I won't be leaving this group but I am moving as my husband Jerry, I call

him Todd, is in the Army and we're moving to Heidelberg, Germany. He has

been there since Jan. 19th. and I will be joining him Feb. 28th. (well I

guess I won't get to him until the 29th because the flight is so long but I

leave here the 28th).

I have formed so many wonderful friendships from going to the support group

meetings, having WLS, and joining these support groups. For those of you who

are pre-op (I've seen some posters say they're still waiting or

researching), I wish you the best of luck in your quest and from my pre and

post-op experience it was one of the best things I've ever done in my life.

For those of you who are post op, I hope your experience has been a great

one and congrats. to everything you've gone through. Until next time, take

care.

Hugs,

Todd
