Guest guest
I'm sorry too , this thing really snowballed in the wrong direction. I really think your intentions are noble but somewhere they became misinterpreted and that is regrettable. It appears to me we are all in unison about the idea of swapping club-foot specific items yet too many cooks spoil the broth.....or too many Chiefs and not enough Indians....haha. I urge you to move forward with your Foundation for all the good it can possibly do (and I believe it will do good).....this swap thing doesn't have to be an All Or Nothing deal on this loop. You can expand upon your idea in your own way and others can expand upon their ideas in their own ways but to be enemies is a shame, this world is too small for that, and I hope bridges can be repaired before they are burned too far down. Anyone willing to extend a helping hand to others has my support. Although Christmas is a wonderful time of year bringing out the most generous in some people, it's also a stressful time of year and perhaps under the recent stress many of us here bit when we should have just growled. .... I apologize for any involvement I had that has hurt your feelings. I misunderstood your intentions, and I am sorry. I'm sure others feel the same. We do support your efforts. This Foundation is your baby and I say you can rock it any way you want to. Best Wishes for a wonderful, prosperous new year. ee Re: Re: clubfoot swap idea Sorry that there is such bad blood about this. Like I had said before, the foundation is only interested in the shoes/bar swap. I really can't believe that I have put my heart and soul into this and I am treated like a police dog. You have acted as if I am out to get someone. Which is absolutely not the truth or even a fleeting thought in my mind. I have only offered to help. Which has not been accepted by all. My feelings have been deeply hurt. You act as if I don't know about any of this, I have lived through clubfoot myself and through my 2 kids. I have FOUGHT for kids with an orthopedic diagnosis, when other people turn their back. I, in my mind can't imagine ever treating someone who is willing to help, like a second class citizen. I will not allow this to ordeal to take me a step back, but move forward with the same dedication. I truly mean no ill will towards any of you, but it seemed that some of you were meaning it to me.
