Guest guest Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 Today was his first checkup after getting the DBB back on after his second tenotomy and Dr Kelleher was THRILLED with his progress. I love that she's so excited about him. He has a small sore in the crease on top of his foot... in all the excess fat on top of the foot thats caused from way the top strap on the boot fits but its healing well. I have a fabric bandage over it when the shoes are on. Dr K says he looks great, he's holding that 70 deg external rotation and b/c I put him in his exersaucer during his one free hour, he's now putting weight on his foot and using it quite a bit. She's going to be deployed to the Gulf from Dec - May so she'll see him again in December and then allow the base Podiatrist to keep an eye on him while she's away. She says by that time, we should be able to decrease his time in the shoes.
