I ditto all of Alice's comments and not to scare you unnecessarily the buzz was

the first symptom of my original overnight hearing loss...it can also be a

symptom of a simple allergy. Given my history anyone in this family who

experiences an ear/hearing problem we are on the way to the ENTs office. I did

not have constant tinnitis until this past spring and suffered a cold...I blew

my nose carefully as instructed and felt this pop and when the noise continued

two days later I was seen. It was like birds roosting in trees, constant and

loud, a CT scan a few days later showed a rupture in one of the sacs and since

then the tinnitis is continual.
