Guest guest
Okay, since the subject is out there, he goes my question. My husband smokes, has since I met him almost 4 years ago. He does not smoke in our house, he goes outside. Part of the deal we made, when I get pregnant, he has 9 months to stop. That was HIS idea, not mine. Of course, now that we are ready to ttc, I really remind him. Obviously, I would like for him to stop now, before I get pregnant, but he isnt even showing any signs of wanting too. So, I wont push it yet. The last thing he needs is one more person nagging at him to stop. As a non smoker, I cant explain to him the smell his fingers have. Ick, I dont want my future baby when I have it to have to experience that at all. So my long question is, does spouse smoking have any effects on the baby other than the obvious second hand smoke stuff??? Please be honest because if it does, we will have a talk tonight! angela
