Guest guest
Well our Collin saga continues, he made it from about 9:00 pm until 4:30 am. Then at that point he had one off so I just took the other off. He asked for his prize and I told him that he has to wear his shoes to granma's in the morning for a prize every day and to have his weekend party. But then I thought about it and think he still did better then some other times, so I told him I would give him a tiny prize for trying but he has to keep the on until grandma's to get a fun fun prize...so I gave him 1 pack of pez. I think if I can get it on him Thursday and Friday by 7:45 pm - 8:00 pm and he make it until morning I will still let him have his party either Friday night or Saturday after our morning swim class. I know waiting till 9 last night was late but so much was going on, etc. and tonight I have yoga 7:30 - 8:30 so we won't get home until 9:00 pm. My husband works some nights so when he does I bring Collin with me to the YMCA they have a babysitting service for why I'm in class. Thanks again for everyone's support and letting me vent and of course all of the ideas!!! Guest guest
Ah bummer to hear that. I still think a sleep sack might be a way to go, then there's no fight about it either way since he simply could not get to them to remove them. Did you check their size and fit like others here suggested? s. Well our Collin saga continues, he made it from about 9:00 pm until 4:30 am. Guest guest
It is such a bummer. I think his 12 " bar is fine...which leads me to ask what size do they make the bar up to????? He see's Dr. H on January 14th so if we need to change things its not to far away. I think his right shoe is fine (clubfoot side) but he could probably use the next size up in the left. I forget what size it is now in Markell world I think a 5 he is in a 9 in shoe store sizes. It's the right shoe he always gets off. Maybe I could ask my aunt or mom (I don't sew well) someone to make him a sleep sack that is hard to get off. He can unzipper and I worry about using a saftey pin at top because he can unbuckle, etc I don't want him to prick his little fingers.... but maybe I can figure something else out to use to make it hard to get off. We should invent something!!!! Michele Collin's story at http://www.geocities.com/chele323232
Guest guest
have it so it zips up the back. That way he can't reach the zipper pull to unzip--or at least it would be a lot harder. > > Good luck! I hope you stick around so you can remind us of these tips if our kids go through this stage... THAT IS SUCH A GREAT IDEA! I wish I thought of that thanks!!!! Michele
