Guest guest
Dear Barbara, I am so sorry to read that you must undergo the gamma treatment do to the results of the MRI Report which shows that the meningioma has grown more than expected since your last MRI. I certainly understand why you asked them to wait until the holidays were over. I've been in the situation where the doctor told me that I might have a brain tumor but the tests proved negative. The waiting to find out was very difficult and I can't imagine how I would have handled a different result - one like you are dealing with. Now, to have an MRI - I would need to have a small surgery before it to remove the magnets in the implants on both sides of my head. I never really minded the MRI but it's been quite a while since I've had one but I suspect that there could be one in the near future for me. Barbara - please keep us updated about your upcoming surgery in January. You have a lot of support here and many friends. We will be anxious with you as I know you can't go thru this without fears. When you need to share your feelings, we are here 24/7. Hugs! Alice ..
Guest guest
Bless your heart, Alice, I can feel those hugs all the way to Kansas! The good news is that the people at the Gamma Knife center are exceptionally warm and caring. I have been so impressed and this goes a long way in alleviating any fear. I will be in good hands. :-) Hugs to you, Barbara > Dear Barbara, > > I am so sorry to read that you must undergo the gamma treatment do to the > results of the MRI Report which shows that the meningioma has grown more > than expected since your last MRI. Guest guest
Bless you, Barbara, for having such a great attitude. It is good to have a Center where people are caring and give you the belief they know what they are doing. I wish you great success and continued peace of mind about it.
