Guest guest
Hey everyone, I'm trying to get caught up on reading the posts we have had a hectic week and a really hard time with Collin wearing his DBB/FAB to bed this week. I woke up Wedesday morning to find our fence just the back not the sides fell down and broke during the storm (remanants from the Hurricane that blew up here in S. Jersey). Then I get called out of work about 2pm to find my Uncle in the Hospital I stayed until about 8:30 pm and left to go home, phone rang about 11:45 pm and it was my sister on her way to pick me up, by the time we got to the hospital it was too late, he didn't make it. Then my Father (Uncle's brother) started haveing cheast pains during the last right ceremony at the hospital past midnight with the preiest, ...so then the ICU doctors checked my father in and kept him until morning I only stayed until about 4:30 am then I just had to leave so other family stayed with my mom who wouldn't leave the hospital she was so scared to leave my dad, they didn't keep him because it would be too stressful missing his brothers funeral and not being able to grieve, etc...So now he will be going back for more tests etc soon..Then viewings, funerals, etc.... I'm just getting caught up again at work...but this whole week has been tough with Collin and his night time shoes, and I haven't had any energy, I'm just trying to get everything in order again...house, work, laundry, laundry, laundry!!!! I just don't know what to do he can untie even when I double not the shoes. He is 3 and quite smart, bribes just don't do it anymore, he doesn't want pennies, candy, toys, extra reading time, anything I can think of. Any help or tips would be appreciated we are suppossed to have him in the DBB/FAB for at least another year. If any of you are in my local area South Jersey I'm doing a walk for cancer (breast cancer) I need to get out and do something good to help make this month happier. It's on 10-24-04 at River if you goto our website http://www.geocities.com/chele323232 and click on the breast cancer link it takes you to information about the walk, the team I'm walking with (the more the merrier we always say) Anyone is more then welcome to join our team! I've just started finding sponsors but our team has already raised more then a $1,000.00 with just us women, which is cool because some business's raised about the same and we are just a bunch of working women who know each other through each other, and we have kind of banned together to do some good. I have recruited some family members too that are going to walk that day, I'm not going to bring Collin most likley because it's about 5 miles, I'm not sure if he will behave that long in a stroller, etc. Sorry had to vent!!!!! Please help with tips to keep him in his night time shoes, I feel like I have tried it all. Also sorry I haven't scanned in the photo from the baltimore syopsim from September, things have just been nuts and I haven't gotten into the attic to find the box with our scanner yet. As soon as I get in scanned in I will post a message to let those interested know.
