We have seen 4 orthopedic surgeons, 4 pediatricians and 1 GP over

the last 7 months with our son, right club foot. Finally found a

great surgeon who really cared about our little fellow (he's a

Dr.Ponseti graduate). He told us that this mark used to be called

the " devil's thumbprint " hundreds of years ago. This will never go

away. I did read somewhere that it indicates a more severe clubbing

of that foot but don't know how reliable that statement was.
