Guest guest
I spoke with our pharmacist and he said that the generic levocarnitine has the same basic acitve and inacitve ingrediants as Carnitor. He feels really confident with the change for us. I trust him and will give it a shot. He said it is a simple med and there should be no problems. Guest guest
I did ask the pharm when I talked to him about this how much this was saving the " state " and he said $10.00. It is only $10.00 cheaper. But I guess it's alot when you add it all up. Dawn

Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I guess if you would add up all the money that the state saves from buying generic verus brand name, I would imagine that it would run in the Billions of dollars. But I doubt that there are that Many people on Carnitor, so I really don't know if the 10.00 per prescription they save really adds up, but that is the way it is in our country. Sorry for all the problems you are having. I hope that she can handle the generic form of Carnitor, and if not let the Doctor and the Pharmacist know. Ann-Marie Re: Generic Carnitor update!
