Yes - hearing loss is horribly isolating and a very difficult thing to deal with. Are you seeing the doctors there about the hearing loss and do they have any recommendation at all? Can you use a hearing aid or are you perhaps a candidate for the CI. Please recover from the flu quickly - be sure to drink extra fluids and if you need electrolites - Gatorade? It had been such a long time since we heard from you and I wish your health news was better.
