Pam,

I'm glad 's appointment went well. The closed toed shoes should

be okay for the winter months, but I agree with you that they'll

probably get pretty sweaty in the warmer spring/summer. Did they at

least put some air-holes in the leather for you? It seems like the

open-toed shoes would be less expensive than closed toed just because

there's less material- I don't know that the stitching time would be

much different between the two styles. Oh well!

That's exciting news about Dr. Dobbs' findings! Thanks for sharing

that with us. I wonder if he'll be publishing the results soon? I

know that there was a doctor in Texas who'd been studying the same

thing 4 years ago- I wonder if she's published anything yet (Dr.

Hecht I believe her name was).
