Hello! I posted last month about my daughter and I really appreciate

the information. I was looking at some of the pictures and her feet

clearly we're not staight enough. Hence the blisters from the dbb

shoes. We're going back to Shriners and she's back in casts.

Thanks,Juli

Juli,

Thanks for updating us!

I'm glad you were able to determine that there was a problem with

your daughter's feet. What doctor/Shriner's hospital are you

seeing? Are the last casts that are applied to achieve correction

rotating the foot outward at a 70 degree angle? The foot almost

looks " backwards " in this cast. There are pictures available that

show this is you're not sure what I'm asking....let me know if you

haven't seen them and I'll post a link.

Please keep us posted!

No actually the cast were perfectly straight forward. and her foot

has relapsed quit a bit. Originally (at birth) her foot was turned

so much that her big toes touched her inner calves. When they did

the tendonectomy her feet were straight. the thing that was odd was

that the week before the original doctor told us it would be three

more weeks or so before the surgery but then he changed his mind the

next week and had us schedule. Also we're in Oregon and going to

Portland the only shriners hospital here. Oh and her feet are now

curved in. and is it normal for her toes to curve in so much and be

pushed on top of eachother? Thanks Juli

You are not alone in noticing the positive effects of multi-dosing!

It better imitates what our thyroid's, if healthy, would be doing

anyway. And I am so glad to read that you are inspired to go upwards

again. It can make the difference. If someone is flagging in energy

5 hours after a thyroid dose, it's a sure sign that you don't have

enough thyroid hormones in your body in the first place.

I take 2 grains in the morning, one grain in the early-to-mid

afternoon, and 1/4 grain a bedtime. If I did blood work the next mid-

morning (without taking my morning dose), my free T3 is still in the

top 1/4 of the range. That's a good sign that I am on an optimal

dose! In fact, I have started experimenting with takien 1/2 grain at

bedtime.......to see.

You are on your way!
