Guest guest
, I'm gonna agree that your problems are due to the pregnancy, so don't feel like a failure. I was sick during my first trimester with " morning sickness " and it would change by the day what I could or could not eat. Literally the week I was out of my first trimester I felt better, hopefully this will be the case with you. Since food makes you feel yucky, just be sure you get enough liquids in to keep you hydrated. Hang in there! Axelrod 10 weeks and food questions I'm now at 10 weeks and have had terrible nausea most of the time - unless I was asleep. It has eased off a little but I'm having a lot of problems with food and wondering if anyone else is having these same problems. I find that I'm having a hard time getting protein in and I do well with carbs like bread, crackers, etc - things I had pretty much totally given up during my weight loss period. I really do well with salads and fruit. My problem is this: foods seem to make me feel like I'm dumping or just really make me feel full. I've found myself throwing up just to feel better (and it works) - this can be after I've eaten only a small amount of something. I can usually go and eat a little more and keep it down. Also, whenever I eat different kinds of foods - or more than one or two items I also feel sick. I think this is just pregnancy but was wondering if anyone else is having real issues with food? I was a star student according to my gastric bypass surgeon after surgery but I feel like a flunk out now. Has pregnancy just changed the way my body is dealing with food? Thanks! Guest guest
, I was SO sick in both my pre and post-op pregnancies. Protein was the worst for me the entire nine months. I could barely tolerate it. I bet you anything you're problems with food are pregnancy related. I got pregnant at only 7 weeks post-op. So for me I wasn;t sure what was pregnancy and what was the surgery. But let me tekll you after was delivered I was better food wise starting the next day! I was sick the entire time in my pre op pregnancy as well. for me it was my morning sickness. Hang in there. Guest guest
Hi, Congratulations on your new baby. Wanted to know what type of birth control methods your dr. may have suggested after your wls and would you please let me know. I have heard that the pill isn't safe enough because our bodies absorb most everything (including the pill) and it wouldn't be as effective. What were other options..I was thinking about an IUD and would like some information from any of you new mothers out there who are considering birth control methods. Guest guest
I haven't been on any type of birth control for many years simply for the fact that my husband is a pilot and is only home on weekends. I knew how to do the ovulation predicting so that's all we've ever really used. Sorry I couldn't help you out more with this one. Maybe others can. SMiles, > Hi, > > Congratulations on your new baby.
