Guest guest
Boy, was telling you there was something wrong and he wasn't stopping until you fixed it! Aren't babies amazing? I am glad you were able to figure out his problem. Its so hard to go back to getting up with after you haven't done it for a long time. Good luck in the days to come.. Mommy to 12/17/98 and Christian 1/30/04 _____ From: Wold Sent: Wednesday, October 20, 2004 12:05 AM To: nosurgery4clubfoot Subject: Had to share! My son is 12 months old, born with bilateral cf, and has been in the mitchell shoes for the past week and a half. We have survived 11 months of castings, two surgeries and I was not sure we would survive these darn shoes! lol. He was waking up every half hour fussing and wanting to be soothed. Usually after a new pair of casts he would be fussy for a bit waking up every 3-4 hours or so for a day or two. This went on in the shoes for a week and a half. When I talked to about the shoes he decided to send me a bigger pair, thinking they were not wide enough for my cherubs fat feet. Lo and behold the boy is still sleeping since 8 pm this evening. Course, now I'm wide awake!! lol. Thank you Lord, the light can be seen at the end of the tunnel. He has even started to stand on his fat feet. hehe! Never thought this day would come...now for the next day....Press on rejoicing all the way!! 10-09-03 atypical bilater cf

Hopefully it wasn't just a fluke and he sleep good tonight too. I think he will he really is not fussy at all anymore with these wider shoes on.
