Guest guest
From what our Limb & Brace company tells me... we have one old shoe and one new shoe. Elijah takes a 00 on the left (unaffected) foot and a 000 on the RCF. I think the old shoe has the tongue of the shoe attached on one side which (in my opinion and experience) makes the shoe fit weird. The new shoes has the tongue of the shoe held in by the laces and allows it to be moved around for a better fit. Outside of that I havnt notice any other differences. Guest guest
Lori, I believe my son needs a larger shoe for his left foot (non-club foot). The toes are starting to reach the edge, but his rcf shoe still has room. When getting the shoes different sizes, do they charge for both as a set or just for one? Guest guest
Our Brace Company charged me seperately. Our insurance covered it all but they only charged me for 2 shoes and one brace. Guest guest
Liana, I had a similar problem getting our military insurance to pay for them. $127 total. Call your insurance company and find out if it has to be coded a certain way in order for it to be paid. If so, you can then call whoever you got the shoes from and have them code it like that. Your situation may not be like ours was but it might help. We have 4 kids also and I know that every penny counts. Lori and Elijah ]
