Guest guest Posted February 9, 2004 Report Share Posted February 9, 2004 Hello everyone! I am new and pregnant and I find it absolutely great that there is a site for us!!! I am 6 mos. out from LAP surgery and lost 92 lbs. I just found out that we are pregnant! What a mixed first couple of days it was! I was excited but also uninformed and hopefully with you all, I won't continue to be like that! I was (and still am just a little) worried about the weight gain. Both of my children I had gained over 100 lbs. What makes this one different? Won't a body react the way it will due to body makeup or does having the surgery lessen that risk? I don't know...I just want a healthy baby and from what I hear, there is a good possibility I may lose weight from pregnancy??? Sounds good to me compared to my history! Oh, we are due in October. God willing, we both will be healthy and alive!!!! Nice to be here and looking forward to the next 9 months with you all!!!
