Pleased you liked it Alice and it is of use..got loads more of the

British stuff...

I particularly liked the section where our lot say ragged red

fibres are non-specific for mito,.. and it confirms adrenal

insufficiency is part of mito. This fact interests me personally as

I have only 11 days to go before I go for further adrenal

testing..and a lot of the literature now is citing enzyme

deficiencies in the steroid chains as possibly causative or involved

with mito.

In many ways we seem to have a totally different approach on the

illness..here they look at the entire body metabolics system....I

and my mother have refused consent for further genetic analysis.We

prefer to treat what is going wrong !!!

The metabolic consultant is fully aware of that and is acting

accordingly. All too unfortunatly I recognise some of the names of

Neuro's cited on the bibliography, I will not make any further

comment on some of the bright sparks...
