Guest guest
Hi everyone, I had serious complications after an RNY including a fistula, revision to fix the fistula, pnemonia and an abdominal infection after revision. Ever since my last surgery 6 montHS ago, I get low grade pain in the front of my left shoulder and sometimes in my right shoulder. From what I understand and what the Dr. said is that it is referred pain from my diaphram. He said it might be adhesions. I feel it when I walk or take a deep breath. Has anyone else experienced this? I am afraid of a leak or something else going on down there. The pain is very mild but enough to keep reminding me of it. My Dr. doesn't seem too concerned about it. I am feeling very well otherwise. I really want to get pregnant but worry that something will go wrong or even if it is from adhesions, that the pregnancy will put pressure on them, causing twisting of the intestine. Has anyone else had problems with adhesions or this type of pain when pregnant?
