He's not miserable in the brace just when I first put it on him after his

bath. We do have a blister situation on the heel but I keep a bandaid on it

and it doesn't seem to bother him. Also, and although he has adjusted to

kicking both feet simultaneously, he still prefers one foot at a time. He

as been in the brace almost three weeks now. I noticed also that if I don't

put a bandaid on the heel that he tends to slip out of the Markell's.

His foot looks good I guess. It looks almost like his normal foot...just a

little smaller and pudgier. I can manipulate it very well. It doesn't feel

tight and doesn't curve. I just wish the blister (which is open) would heal

a little faster. He's had it since he went into the shoes.

Thanks for the definitions.

I haven't seen the blister block....i will look for them at my next trip to

the drug store. Currently, I am using the advanced healing bandaids that

are like a gel cushion that surrounds the affected area. Also, we are using

the newer style Markell's.
