Guest guest
I just drowned my sorrows in ice cream and am feeling much better! I didn't want Aidan to feel left out so I stuck his binkie in it and stuck it in his mouth and I think he's feeling much better too. I think I'll take a half gallon to our next appointment just in case!! Whew, ice cream always makes me thirsty - I think I'll wash it down with a glass of wine - feeling much better in San !! :-) hehe. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
, Seriously, you are just like me! We would be great friends if you didn't live halfway across the country! I am sure Aidan LOVED the icecream. It's a nice change from the formula that you have to admit really smells kind of nasty.LOL. I also loved the sitting on the lawn, drinking wine and let the kids roll around comment. Anyway, I didn't get an earlier email from you with questions in it. Please resend if possible. Guest guest
Oh Jen! How disappointing, but in talking to you it doesn't sound like it was anything that you weren't expecting. Did the doc give you any ideas about what caused the blisters/sores? I would really hate to see you have these casts and get him all healed up just to do it all over again because the problem is not solved. Ice cream and wine sounds like just about the right thing for you right now! Enjoy it and try not to stress about it!! Have you ever sent any photos to Dr. Ponseti? He might be able to give you a little insight as to what is going on even without you going there. Like I told you, we originally sent photos to him before we ultimately ended up going there. I know I told you how bad I cried when he told us that Livie's foot was not corrected. I would imagine that Aidan having to go back into casts was just as upsetting for you. Good luck with the next go-round! I hope it is easy and blister/sore free!! Jen & Livie P.S - We flunked I just drowned my sorrows in ice cream and am feeling much better! Guest guest
He did say he hadn't seen a blister on the inside of the foot directly across from the heel. We looked over the shoes and did find a kind of sharp area in the threading and from comparing that to his feet it looks like it lined up perfectly. We covered it with mole skin. The blister on the other heel I'm afraid came down to operator error.. Hopefully we'll get it next time. Unfortunately we thought about taking pictures to late (in the doctors office). He said his feet really looked good though and 2 week casts are to hold the correction while the blisters heal. If, however, it happens again I will get those pics to Dr. P. right away. and Jen consider@...> wrote: Oh Jen!
