Guest guest
Hi girls, thank God this place exists! I hope you will be able to reassure me that everything will be ok. I'd like to hear from anyone who has been preg. at 9 months post op and how it went. I am a military spouse and live here in Germany. My German surgeon was not full of info at all. He did say he had bypass patients who had babies, but did not give any more info. He kept telling me to talk to my OB. My immediate concerns are about my nausea. I normally have severe nausea and vomiting the entire pregnancy. (I have 2 children.) I had to be on meds. just to survive the last 2. I am worried about the vomiting and nausea and if it gets as debilitating as before, I wonder if I'll be able to get my vitamins down. I was not able to before. So far my blood work is excellent. I can eat pretty well, considering. About a cup of food at a time. I'm working out at the gym 3x a week and have lost 5 pounds this week. I go for my first OB appt. this coming Friday. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated! Thanks, 9 months post-op RNY -105 pounds
