They used a stick they called a " wand " and inserted it inside me so they could " see " the baby. Basically all I saw was a little blob with a flicker inside the blob which they told me was the heart beat. The gave me pictures and labeled the baby, the heart, and the yoke sack. First I saw what looked like a little peanut and then I heard the heartbeat. This gave me a great feeling that everything was in the right place and the baby was growing okay - it was right on the target for the length. Don't be so afraid. I'm sure everything will work out well for you. Keep smiling, now 12 weeks, 2 days EDD 10/3/04 > Hi > > I am going for my first U/S on Monday , I will be 7Wks and 3 days on Monday( I think) what can I expect?
