Guest guest
Patty- I think it would very much warranted to have a Lyme's test done. I believe the test I had done was a western blot and Lyme titers. My symptoms are fatigue, muscle pain and weakness, low BP, GI dysmotility, headaches, etc. I was on a regiment of oral Biaxin alternating every 2 wks with Flagyl. I took these antibiotics for about 2 months with no response and never experienced the herxheimer reaction that one should when treated for and responding to Lyme's treatment. I later found out that the urine lymes test I had done was not legitiment, nor was the lab that performed it. Mine was just a false positive. My western blot and lyme titers were consistently negative. Hope that helps some.,
Guest guest
I was never treated for Lyme. If I had it, and my bloodwork indicates that I have had it at one time, it was probably just managed with my Mom's remedies. We knew nothing about Lyme when I was growing up. I have developed the lyme antibodies according to my blood work which would indicate that I have built up an immunity. Yes - it was the Southern Blot test.
