Well, I couldn't take it any longer so I went into his room and he was

crying hysterically so picked him up and his legs felt warm. I layed him

down on my bed and saw that they were both bright red. I wasn't sure what

to do so I put some cetephil on it and called the pediatrician to see if

there was something else I could do to make him feel better. Well, of

course, they can't tell me how to treat it if they don't see it so they

wanted me to bring him to the office. Turned out that he some kind of

allergic reaction to " & Kissably Soft " and a little Benadryl

did the trick. Although, even though he was so tired he still did not go to

sleep until just now! Geeeessshhh

Thanks everyone.

Just to provide a different perspective...maybe he wants to be close to you

or needs comforting. Are you still breastfeeding? I feed our son and he

goes down for a nap that way. We choose not to let him cry it out. Do what

your gut/heart/inner self tells you to do. It's such a difficult thing to

go through (for you both).

Good luck either way.

let me ask you

Oh my goodness.now that he stands he won't sit down. He desperately needs a

nap right now and everytime I lay him in the crib he gets up!! Do I leave

him? I guess he'll just sit and lay down when he wants to? It's been so

long since I had a baby around.lol.you forget these things!

Glad you got it figured out!! Is that product a lotion or soap? Good

thing you called! Hope he has a good sleep, sounds like you both need

a nap after all that LOL!

Lucky for you little man and you that your ped could so you so quickly. Hope

everyone is well rested. Don't you hate it when you think there is nothing

wrong with them and they are just be difficult and it turns out there is

something wrong. It makes you feel really small. Nothing that lots of extra

kisses and cuddles can't fix.

AAARRRGGHH!!! I ALWAYS do that! Just when I'm ready to beat them

over the moon for whining/crying/being miserable & I'm

yelling/crying/ripping my hair out...they puke or have a fever or

something. Then I feel like the WORST mom ever on the earth for

being mean to my kids & they were sick!! LOL!! Why can't they just

say " Hey ma, I don't feel so good! " Little brats! :-)
