Guest guest
had his one-year checkup last week and the pediatrician asked if he had the surgery. He was supposed to have major surgery on his feet to straighten his bones until I found out about Dr. Ponseti just in the nick of time. :)Anyway, I told her we found Dr. Mack at Shriner's Hospital who uses the Ponseti method and didn't need surgery. She was amazed to learn that it only took 6 casts to correct his feet and only the tenotomy as opposed to major foot surgery. She said she would do some research on Dr. Ponseti and definitely let other patients know about Dr. Mack. I'm happy to know she has the information so other parents can learn they have a choice over surgery. and 11/10/03 bilateral clubfeet
