Guest guest
Congratulations! s. New Baby!!! Hey Everyone! Just a quick note to say that not only are we expecting again, but we just had our 20 week ultrasound and guess what....no clubfoot!! Although it wouldn't be the end of the world, we all know its perfectly managable. It sure is nice to think we won't have to deal with more casts and more boots. Ben is doing really well and running around like a mad thing. His foot looks great and shows no sign of regression. Merry Christmas all. -Ruth mum to Ben March 31 2003 lcb

Guest guest
That's wonderful news. Since you come to this board, you obviously do so for information - both to share and receive. I hestitated to type this, because I didn't want to be the grinch - but we are expecting our second in January (the 8th) - I emailed Dr. Ponseti after our 20 week u/s to let him know the feet were straight. He informed me that this wasn't conclusive or diagnostic. That we would need another u/s at 25/26 weeks to be " for sure " . So, we had another u/s at 25 weeks which also revealed straight feet. We're sort of thinking " we'll believe it when we see it " - but we do feel pretty certain that everything will be fine. Like you said, if he was to be born with c/f - it's manageable. I just wanted to let you know. I hope you don't think I'm trying to rain on your parade, but I was in your shoes not too long ago, and I would have appreciated it if somebody let me know. CONGRATS on your pregnancy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
