Guest guest
It is sooo normal to worry. I worry to all the time but the farther along I get the better i feel. I see my baby on the ultrasound now and he looks like he is doing so well that most of the worry is gone. Once you hit that 12 weeks mark ALOT of the worry leaves. good Luck, God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
Well actually the fear never goes away...because then you have the baby and it grows and becomes a toddler etc etc...and you worry about different things. I guess its the burden or blessing of motherhood. Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! New Baby Swenson Due July 28, 2004! Hearing all this negative information and all the stuff that COULD go wrong with the baby is really bothering me. I hope these feelings are normal. I am to the point where I cant wait to get past the 12 week mark, and then I hear about miscarriages farther along. Does the fear EVER go away?? Or, will I always worry from now on? This is my first pregnancy, and when I hear about someone micarrying, having complications, reading about spina bifida, downs syndrome, etc I get a little upset. Guest guest
the fear never goes away My Mother says she still has it and she's 63 (I'm 37). I worry about my 9 yr old at school (guns? drugs? sexual molestation?) and I still check my 16 month old to make certain he is still breathing after an unusually long nap. Take it from a seasoned 37 yr old.... the fear will never go away; I just trust that my Lord will watch over them for me and keep them close to Him. Guest guest
, I'm 33 weeks in to my first pregnancy and for me, my worrying eased up a bit when I passed 26 weeks because I knew that officially if I went into labor it wouldn't be considered a miscarriage at that point it would be considered a premature birth. Who knows why that eased my mind a bit, but it did. Please note, it only eased my mind a bit, I certainly have not stopped worrying. As each week passed I have felt less anxious, totally focusing on hitting that 36 week mark where most OB's consider you " full term " if you go into labor. Being worried is totally normal but if you think that you are worrying too much, or it is consuming your every thought, talk to your doc. Axelrod Worry Wort??? I am currently 6 weeks pregnant. Guest guest
, I am 25 weeks along and I still worry. I don't think I will stop worrying until I hear my baby cry. I don't worry as much since I have begun feeling her move around 4 weeks ago, but I still worry that something will go horribly wrong. Today, 2 people at work yelled at me for reaching so high because apparently that can cause the umbilical cord to wrap around the baby's neck. Wonderful! Now I have that to worry about!! So now what, I guess I can't reach into my kitchen cabinets for plates or glasses. I think I need a maid and a chauffer!! Best of luck to you, this being my first pregnancy too I know exactly what you are going through!! Beverly EDD 6/16/04 > I am currently 6 weeks pregnant.
