Guest guest
if your progesterone levels aren't in the theraputic (or normal for pregnant women) range, most OB's will start the pregnant woman on a progesterone pill/suppositories etc. If your progesterone level was low before and that was what caused the miscarriage, it stands to reason that they want to make certain your progesterone level is at a normal range with this pregnancy. If you miscarry again, they will most likely want to do more tests and blood work. Why wouldn't you want to take the progesterone if the Dr ordered it and you have low levels? Is it expensive? Best wishes to you! Sheila
Guest guest
I have low progesterone as well, some Dr. prescribe pills for that other don't because they don't feel like it would help at all. it isn't uncommon to have to take them , you babies heartbeat is strong so you should be ok
