Guest guest
Hey , The blister is pretty bad. We took the shoes off again on Sunday and he had another one on his heel with a preassure sore. We paged the doctor and she said leave the shoes off for the remainder of the day and we went back to the doctor on Monday. All else considering his feet look good as far as correction goes but we can't go back in the shoes with the current issues. We're in fiber glass casts for two weeks to hold the correction and allow the blisters on his feet to heel and the swelling to go down. Sunday when we had him out of the shoes his feet swelled. Oh well, I guess we failed the first go around, we'll just try again. jennifer mj_remington@...> wrote: Hi Jen, Just wondering how Aidan is doing...is his foot OK? How is that blister looking? Guest guest
I'm going to try the Markell's again. Hopefully the second time around will be better. I'm pretty sure the blister on the back of his heel was operator error. Man, I thought that sucker was down. I've considered the 's but $300 a pop, wow, that's expensive. BUTTTTTTTT, if the Markell's don't fit they just don't fit. I've heard that preemies tend to do better in 's. Did you get my last questions? What are the answers little mama. Gosh, I know if you lived close we'd be good friends you are too funny. " Sleep Sack " That's a good one. Did I tell you I went to the grocery store with the baby for the first time and after paying for the groceries I was so concerned with making sure his car seat was attached correctly and he wouldn't fall out that I walked off without picking up any of the groceries!! It was me, baby & empty grocery cart!! What an idiot... Gerace cgerace@...> wrote: , Poor Aidan... Are you going to go back to the Markells or are you going to get the 's now? Good for you! We had major swelling and sore's when Grace came out of her 3 week cast and had to wait a week before even going into the DBB - if she needed an additional cast my thoughts were so be it, the DBB will be waiting for us when she is ready! Turns out she didn't need the cast but those little feet need to heal for sure. Poor little guy, hope he and you are doin OK! & Grace > > Hi Jen, > > Just wondering how Aidan is doing...is his foot OK? How is that > blister looking? Guest guest
I used to do that all the time after I had my first son. I would go to the video store and leave the video. I concentrated on not forgetting the baby, everything else didn't matter. Except when I got home!!!! Duh!!!! It's funny now. Guest guest
I STILL... as I'm driving down the road have to look back to make sure I didn't forget one of them. Usually it's the baby I think I left lol Haven't left one yet, but I always think I might have! Kori At 04:13 AM 12/7/2004, you wrote: >I used to do that all the time after I had my first son. Guest guest
Tell me about it! For some reason I could keep track of 2, but with three I feel like I'm trying to split my eyes in 3 different directions--and I'm always missing 1!! > > >I used to do that all the time after I had my first son. Guest guest
My other advice is as soon as your baby is big enough to have a bed time, pick one and stick to it. We need that magic hour at the end of the day we can look forward to when the house will become quiet and we can " get off work " . We're still on call, but at least we're off work. Parent's need child-free hours at home in the evening to look forward to. AMEN TO THAT!!!
Guest guest
It is such a learning experience this raising a family! I of course have gotten so much advise from well meaning family members! My mom for one, things were quite a bit different when we were babies and some of the advise is funny! For instance...I quit smoking as soon as I found out I was pregnant, my mom said " honey, it's ok, as long as you smoke less than 10 a day, you are fine, that's what my doctor told me " hehehe. She also told me that when Grace bites me when nursing, I should bite her back hehe. I remember making some comment to her about something she advised me to do and she said " it's amazing that all you kids made it out alive " hehe. She has given good advise too don't get me wrong but it made me realise, it was trial and error when she was raising us too (I was the 1st or the experemental baby hehe) it is a real learning experience! You only get really good at something my trial and error. And the car seat thing, I did that once too and I bet we will never do that again - got a couple white hairs that day LOL! & Grace > With me, I forgot my wallet at least three times and didn't notice till the cart was full and in the check out line!
