Guest guest Posted January 10, 2004 Report Share Posted January 10, 2004 LOL... sometimes grazing can be a GOOD thing, especially if your blood sugar tends to stay low. I was such a brittle diabetic for over ten years, and I didn't believe that protein helped with leveling out sugars for a long time until I did some experimenting on myself! LOL! :~) One of the things that I do is eat a spoonful or two of peanut butter... (with half a banana is awesome! LOL!) it has enough added sugars to give you taht much needed sugar lift, but it also has enough protien in it to help stabilize... plus good fats! :~) Sharon > Thanks for the tip.
