Guest guest
Shari, Wow! I'm so excited for you! I wonder if I am dilating at all since your due date is only 2 days before mine? I think that I have been having BH contractions but since I have never had a baby I don't know, it may just be the baby turning over or moving alot. I go see the OB next Tuesday, I guess I will find out then. Axelrod I'm dilating! Yes, I know it could stay like this for awhile..but I'm still getting excited! Hubby and I went to the ER Monday night with severe flu symptoms. They kept him in the ER and took me straight up to Labor and Delivery. I got hooked up to the monitors and had an IV of fluids and phenergan for my nausea, and the Dr asked if I'd been having contractions. I said, " No, just stomach cramps from being so sick. I'm only 35 weeks. " and she said " Well honey, you are having contractions right now. " She said my uterus was " irritable " and checked my cervix before they sent me home. Turns out I am dilated to 2cm and am 75% effaced. She gave me a long list of things to watch for so I'd know when to come back in. I see my OB next Wednesday for my Group B Strep test. The flu seems to be easing up finally. Hubby and I are feeling quite a bit better today. We have a ton of work to do around here because we have to have the house and property assessed, so that we can hopefully purchase it ASAP. Has anyone stayed at 2cm dilated for a REALLY long time? I'm curious if I will make it to my due date- April 20th. I feel like I need to get everything ready RIGHT NOW. I still have a few things left to do, and I don't even have my bag packed yet. Guess I'd better get busy, just in case! Just gotta be careful not to overdo it. Take care all, Shari in KS RNY 8/99 edd 4/20/04 " Cadence "
