Hi , I am currently on Prozac 20 mg a day and 1/2 a mg of Klonopin a day

and my ob checked it and said it was okay. I took higher doses of the same

meds when I was pregnant with my other kids and none of the docs I seen, even at

the high risk clinic with the twins, said it was a problem. Have your Ob

check his PDR ( physicians desk reference manual) and he can see what the med is

rated at and if there are any side effects or problems with that med you are

on, if there is you could always switch to something that is more baby friendly.

Good Luck with everything.

When I got pg with my first, I was on Celexa. The OB had me go off

it until 7 months. Most anti-depressents are class C which means

they should not be taken unless absolutely necessary. Zoloft I

beleive is the only one that has significant clinical trials to put

it at a class B. So the option is to try and go without or try

switching to Zoloft...preferably before you get pg. But listen to me

sounding like a doc and all.....lol! Just what I've heard. Talk to

your primary doc about it I think.

Good luck!!!

,

I was taking prozac and klonipin when I found out I was pregnant. I spoke to my

psychologist and she said that the klonipin needed to be stopped immediately but

I could continue taking the prozac. I decided to stop everything considering

that there are other meds that I have to take and wanted to eliminate everything

I could. It has been tough at times but luckily I have a very supportive and

understanding husband and that has been a great help. I would say if you can

stop go for it, but don't beat yourself up if you can't. This is a tough

subject to work through, I totally understand.

Is anyone/Has anyone gone through a pregnancy and taken

Would you mind giving me their name and number?

When I was pregnant with my first baby I was on Zoloft 100 mg. my ob

had me stop until after I fininshed breastfeeding. I take it for PMS

and PMS migraines, so needless to say I didn't need it while I was

pregnant! Check with your ob and your pcp and good luck.
