There is a Ponseti trained doctor in Rome whom I believe has over 10 years experience with the method. When we were in Iowa we met another doctor who was also from Italy and training under Dr. Ponseti so it's possible there may be other Italian doctors now qualified in the method. You could contact Dr. Ponseti himself and he would gladly give you more information. He answers e-mails and returns phone calls very quickly. Ridley is now 20 months old and uses the DBB and followed the Ponseti method, eventually. I didn't managed to get in touch with the Dr mentioned so have no experience but l Know he comes recommended. Trying Dr Ponseti himself may be good advice as the doctor had moved from the hospital and they couldn't give me any follow on information. But this was May /June 2003. Ridley was born in Feb I guess this means you found out from the scan? All the best, Melitsa & Ridley. Have not seen any posts from you and was wondering if you did get in contact with a Ponseti Dr.?
