It was so convenient, and I couldn't feel it was inside me. My husband didn't like the idea at first of having a foreign object inside me, but he got over it. He was afraid he would feel it, but he didn't. It comes with a little timer that will tell you when to take it out and after a week it tells you when to put the new one in. I only used it for a short time after surgery because my husband worked overseas and was gone for long periods of time, so I didn't need any birth control.
