Guest guest
Hi , I'm not a doctor, but everything I've heard and my program says that we don't absorb calcium carbonate well. Not only do we not absorb it so we're not keeping our bones strong, the calcium carbonate can build up and cause nasty things like kidney stones. No I'm not a Dr and yes, this is all anecdotal, but ask the next WLS patient who has kidney stones what kind of Calcium they were taking. I'd put my money on carbonate. Anyway, why risk it? No one ever says we can't absorb the citrate so why not just be safe rather than sorry? Thanks! Bonnie
